Takes about 15 minutes for HDM 17 program to load. Then works Great

HDM 17 is trying to locate information from my computer, NOT Internet or External Hard Drive. After about 15 minutes, finds what it was looking for and then runs Great. MY OBSERVATION.

I'm having the same issue ever since upgrading to v17. Takes about 6-7 minutes to load then it works fine! I have no network drives, only a single external USB drive.. so what gives?
