I am creating an image backup of the internal solid state system disk on a Windows 11 PC to an external USB hard drive. After many successful backups, it now consistently fails with 'NT specific error (0xc00009c): STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR. This happens as the backup reaches 'Detaching virtual drives, please wait...'. I am not aware of having any virtual drives on the disk.
I am still able to create an image backup of an external USB hard drive, so assume the problem is not with the Paragon software itself. I have run CHKDSK and DISM, giving some repairs; but I still have the problem.
