Can you ignore integrity errors during a restore?

    Hi all.
I have 1 backup of a grandparents laptop that has had a hard drive failure.
No worries i said i have a backup, but it throws a integrity error about half way through the 2nd partition.
It also "fails to mount" when attempting to access just the data.

Can you force the restore to ignore integrity errors? (using the Restore USB on the laptop)

Tonybarrett62, are you trying to restore the backup to the same drive? If so, the integrity error could be from that drive. You might want to run a disk scan (physical, not logical) of the drive you're trying to restore to, as it might have physical errors/bad sectors. If you are trying to restore to the same hard drive, find another hard drive you know is good and is the same size or bigger and try the restore to it. Otherwise, it sounds like your backup may be corrupted. Did you toggle on the "check backup integrity after creation" switch when you created that backup? If not, you won't forget to do it next time.
