Good evening, I have a 5TB drive formatted to NTFS that I have been using on Monterey on Mac.

I have a folder with 1.3TB of music Files inside. I was deleting some files from within the folder and the entire 1.3TB folder disappeared.

When I check the size of the drive the data is still there but it is not showing on the drive. I searched the hidden files and in the Recycle folder but nothing.

The folder also does not show in the Bin/Trash. Weirdly I can also not Put Back the folders I deleted from the drive. I thought putting back the files I just deleted may fix this but it is not an option.

There seems to be some kind of bug.

I used WindDirStat software on both Windows and Mac but it is only showing the data excluding the lost folder.

I have tried using Spotlight and Windows Explorer to locate the file but nothing.

The First Aid option is also greyed out in Disk Utility.

This seems to be some kind of bug. I was only deleting files and then the whole folder disappeared.

Please can you help with this? I spent a lot of time organising all the date. Do you know the fix?

Thank you
