NTFS for MAC cannot mount portable drive r/w

    Hi,

Just purchased NTFS for MAC (15.9.314) to run on macOS Catalina 10.15.7

I want to use this to copy mac files/folders to external NTFS volume so that I can migrate to a new PC when it arrives.

I just installed it today and tried to mount a portable NTFS drive that mounts successfully in Windows.

When I try to mount in NTFS for Mac the "processing please wait message appears" but the drive is not mount read/write

The drive will only mount in read only mode, the defeats the purpose of me purchasing this software as I need to be able to write to the NTFS drive so I can copy files/folders to it.

Maybe I am doing something wrong but someone please assist me so I can mount in read/write mode?

    Thanks
    Peter

I am also experiencing this issue.

It started occurring with the latest Catalina update. Paragon worked fine on 10.15.6 but not 10.15.7.

When attempting to mount the drive with Disk Utility I get an Apple error message as well.

Searching around on Google indicates that this is likely a problem with several NTFS solutions.

I very much look forward to it being solved!!!!

Same issue here, been using this app for years without issues, updating to 10.15.7 and now I can't mount any of my volumes. You can still mount them in read-only mode fyi... but the whole point is that they are writeble. Also tried disk repair uninstalling and reinstalling ... that doesn't seem to do anything, glad I am not the only one.

I am experiencing the same issue. It was working flawlessly for months, and now the HD can only be mounted r/o.

From looking at the console logs, it seems that there is now a segfault with the mount command:
