I have made a backup with the free version of Paragon Backup & Recovery using the Files/Folders option, which includes everything in my primary drive apart from the video folder, as I didn’t have a big enough HDD to includes these. In the worst-case scenario of my PC becoming unbootable or even starting from scratch with a new machine, will I be able to restore my current Window configuration with this?
Re: Can I restore Windows from Files/Folders option?
No you will not be able to do a full restore. You will be able to restore your files. Which is something. Paragon is not going to give what you really need to restore your computer away for free. I would not recommend paragon software to do this job. Do your home work and look for something else you really need do know what you are doing with Paragon. They provide little help.
Re: Can I restore Windows from Files/Folders option?
Hello and welcome to the forums!
If you need to be able to restore your OS, you need to back up entire C: Partition, not just specific files/folders.
You can check if the following steps will result in restored OS:
1. Install Windows (same version) to new PC
3. Restore the Backup over C: partition (overwriting data)
