As an "old dog" moving to newer versions of Paragon Backup I'm now creating USB stick Recovery Media using the recommended "Use ADK" method. As per the instructions I installed ADK for Windows 10 (1903) and Windows PE add-on for ADK (1903) and the Recovery Media Builder then proceeded to create a UEFI bootable USB stick that works perfectly.

MY QUESTION: The ADK installs required almost 7GB space on my 256GB "OS+Apps" SSD drive. As a test I copied the Windows Kits folder+contents to a 2TB internal drive and then uninstalled the two ADK's to recover that 7GB of space on the SSD. I ran the Recovery Media Builder, pointed it to the new Windows Kits location, and it successfully built the UEFI bootable USB stick.

So ..... Is it OK to do what I did?

It results in a smaller size backup of my SSD "OS+Apps" (C) by relocating the files to the 2TB internal (D) drive.

Thanks to anyone who might have some time to share the answer :-)
