Problem: External USB 3.x Hard Drive (18TB) Can't Be Formatted?

I have an issue with an external 18TB drive (USB 3.x) for which I want to format and move data on, on a Mac (Big Sur); then, transport it to my Raspberri Pi to mount.

I have attempted to "erase" it, through this application, and it simply returns. Equally, the application won't allow me to select any options like read-only (the check-boxes simply blank out after).

    Am I hitting a bug?

There's nothing on the drive of value, it's new. How can I fix this issue?

I tried formatting it under MacOS's Disk Utility (Erase, Ext4), no luck -- Paragon's software won't recognize it. I tried again with Paragon's code, erase -- no errors, and it won't mount it.

i grabbed the e2fsprogs from Macports (mkfs.ext4) and gdisk. I was able to partition and format. Paragon's code isn't having it. I give up.

    Thanks.
