I sure wish I could remember where I saw this -- I have gone though my browser history and I don't see it -- but there is the sentence "...post a new threat." I found it by looking through FAQs, because even though it appeared I was logging in (I got the thank you and the redirection), but my name never appeared at the top right corner and thus the pages never offered the option of posting a new thread. I finally went to my profile, make a minor change and saved, and was then logged in.
