Archive 4TB files into 4GB split pVHDs, put on google drive, access thru file stream?
hi~
I got 10pair of 2TB HDDs.
I am tired to maintain them thru the degradation.
As you know,
I can make the 2TB files into 1000x 2GB files,
put on google drive.
I use business google drive i.e. g suite,
we got google file stream so the files are seen by my PC as in G:\xxx01.pvhd etc
I wonder if anyone is usint that on a large scale like 2TB or 4TB.
previously I wanna try using winrar/7zip etc.
but for 7zip, heard that if I lose the 1st 7zip = I lose ALL data.
for winrar lost 1 one then only that file sucks.
but 7zip/winrar is not good in mounting as a pseduo drive (winrar better)
.pVHD will be a good solution if it works for me.
anyone have experience? thanks.
