New Windows 10 Install, how do I retrieve saved backup?

I was having problems with graphic drivers (long story) on my self-assembled desktop computer and I wanted to re-install Windows 10. Before I did that, I installed Paragon Backup & Recovery 17 for home users and made a full backup and stored it on a removeable Western Digital USB hard drive.

Now that Windows 10 has been restored, I want to restore everything on the USB hard drive to my computer. I downloaded a fresh install of Paragon Free, but I am unable to figure out how to restore from the UBS hard drive. When I click on the sidebar for Paragon Backup & Recovery 17, it seems to want me to create yet another backup.

    What should I do here?

    Thank You.

    Sam

I created a boot thing on a USB thumb drive. I rebooted my machine and hit F2 which opened the BIOS. From the BIOS boot menu I selected the thumb drive. The machine started, but I don't see any difference, the Job file is still not available.

Am I rebooting the machine wrong? Am I leaving a set out?

    Thank you.

Yes. You booted into your usual Windows, not to WinPE
