Is the Samsung SSD connected to the AMD (brown) SATA port?

Thumbs up Re: What to do after successful migration?

It is in the brown port.

After a lot of troubleshooting I contacted Samsung via email and after a testing numerous things, they concluded that the SSD was somewhat incompatible with my system.
They also linked me to an installation guide where it says that there will be performance issues if installed in a system with an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX MOBO with AMD 1.2.1.269 driver..
    https://www.samsung.com/semiconducto...Guide_v2.4.pdf
Rather annoying that nothing of this was mentioned anywhere else and they even said and I quote "Nothing is mentioned about a possible SSD incompatibility when buying the SD."

Anyway, they told me I probably should just send the drive back and get a full refund, which I did. So I guess I go look for an SSD manufactured by a different company since Samsung software doesn't like my system...

    Thanks for the help though!
