Can't burn system disk backup to Blu-Ray drive.

I am using Backup & Recovery 17 Free on Windows 7.

When I go to select the backup destination, my blu-ray drive does not show up in any of the possible locations. I tried formatting blu-ray discs using both UDF Live File System and Mastered File System, then inserting each disc into the drive before starting Backup & Recovery.

Am I doing something wrong, or are blu-rays drives not supported for this use?

This software is a joke if it can't backup to blu-ray discs. BD-R HTL discs are much more reliable than HDD or SSD.

I will be using Windows Backup and Restore for backing up system images to blu-ray discs. I have successfully used it to save a system image to blu-ray discs, restore to a different SSD, and boot from that SSD.
