Seagate drive did not change to read and write after NTFS installation

Seagate drive did not change to read and write after NTFS installation so I still cannot see the files on this drive?

I am using a Seagate ST31000333AS 3.5" SATA drive in an external dock made by Orico. This dock uses a Norelsys NS1066 USB 3.0 to SATA bridge controller. The Mac System Information reports that the HDD is manufactured by Norelsys instead of Seagate. Therefore, the 'free' Seagate version of the software does not recognize that the drive is in fact a Seagate and will not change the permissions to Read/Write. The commercial version of the software will change the permissions to a custom configuration.
