NTFS For Mac 14 : Can't unmount NTFS drives in High Sierra

Since installing High Sierra I am unable to unmount NTFS drives. They are instantly remounted again. There was no issue in Sierra.
This means to safely disconnect a drive I must shut down the Mac first. That's pretty unacceptable. Is there a fix?

I encountered the same problem. I'm using NTFS for Mac v15.4.44 in macOS Mojave 10.14.2. The drive is unmounted in paragon app, but I can't unmount it completely using Disk Utility. It's instantly remounted
