How do I clone a c: ssd drive to a backup ssd drive?
Hi,
I'm new to v16. I did see some posts for cloning, but need help getting oriented. I will be cloning a SSD to another SSD for backup recovery purposes.
I think I use the >Drive Copy Advanced>Migrate (wiz)>Select Whole disk including all partitions>
Will it let me copy to a drive that is not quite the same size? The data will fit, but the capacity is a bit different?
I guess I just need to give it a try, but am I in the ballpark? Have I picked the correct wizard?

I ran the simulation and then did the copy. Not sure why the task was called "Selective copy disk". I guess you could say that I selected the disk to be copied.
It was fast taking only 20 minutes for a 256 GB drive.
Need to boot the clone to verify.

Guess now it is time for a ticket.
1. The cloned drive did boot, but when it went thru a WIN 10 update process. When I put in the original drive, this did not happen.
2. My email was not on the cloned drive.
I'm not sure what kind of copy I did, but it is not a cloning.

did you use MIGRATION? there is option there to migrate whole disk, or just programs and user files. I have not tried it yet; can you re-try it, do screenshots of what you did?
