Recovery does not work

Recovery via 16-free-version does not work, using backup made via 14-free-version.
What can I do?

Please describe in more detail what does not work, at what stage of recovery? You receive an error message or what?

After booting via usb recovery stick made by Paragon download, I choose the the mentioned backup on external hard disk. Everything seems to go just fine, but after about 2 hours progressive running, a message is displayed that the recovery was not successful. Checking the result, I can see that partition d with data is not restored, whereas partition c with windows 10 program files is restored.

C: partition recovered correctly, Win10 is boot and working well?
Now try to restore the D: partition only, separately.

Problem is now that I can no longer successfully boot Paragon from stick. While booting, it starts loading files, and after showing blue windows symbol and displaying juggling balls, booting suddenly is interrupted: just a dark screen remains, and then nothing more happens.

From HDD, can you boot the restored Win10?

Oftop: now you can use Hard Disk Manager 16 Basic for free. HDM 16 is preferable than BR16Free IMHO,
as an recovery media too.

There is no problem to boot from HDD using the restored W10.

Do you mean, I should download HD Manager 16 basic for free? Ok, I could do so, but then what to do?
Apart from this, I would agree to download a chargeable tool, if that one would work.

Well, if you install HDM16 Basic in Win10, you can immediately restore disk D: from external hdd

it seems the installer is multi-language. I think that your HDM16 will have a German interface

Restoration of partition d: gets stuck at 22%. Don´t know what to resolve this issue.
