Help for first time user

Although I keep copies of various data files and folders I've never had to do a full backup and restore.
After the Windows 10 1709 update played havoc with my Netbook I've decided to do a full Windows 10 refresh, but I'd like to keep the software and data that is still on the PC so that I can just restore it after the new Windows 10 has been reinstalled.
What is the procedure to do this using Paragon?

first, you want to do a VOLUME backup of your whole machine.
BUT, before you wipe the drive out (AFTER backing up for protectino), what problems are you running into?
Windows has a way to do the UPDATES (refreshing/updating existing systems), rather than doing a full clean install, depends on teh issue you are having.
