I've done a bunch of searches, and this topic is tough to narrow down -- I typically get a huge number of search results that have nothing to do with what I need. So...

I'm using Paragon Backup & Recovery 16 (free version) and everything I've needed is easy to find. The exception is the new folder on my C: drive that is paragon-restore-xxxx-xxxx. Inside are numerous files named file-x.tmp, with x running from 0 to (at present) 65, and they occupy over 10 GB. Some are over a year old. I'm using other drives to store the actual backups (system images). These .tmp files vary in size from zero bytes to 1.8 GB.

I really can't afford to waste a lot of space on this SSD; are these files necessary? Windows 7 cleanup doesn't delete them, so I'm not sure if these can be safely deleted.

Thanks!
