How to retrive a single file?

I have backed up my (C) Drive with Paragon 12 Hard Disc Manager
I would like to go into the back up and retrieve a couple of files that were lost.
I do not need the whole back up, just a few files.
Is there a way that I can do this? I am running windows 10 pro.
When I go into the back up I find (arc) files and when I try to open one windows gives me a
dialog box asking how I want to open the file but none of the windows options will open
the (arc) file.

What is an "arc-file" (name.extention)? Maybe it's not Paragon backup, but for example Symantec?

arc_....pbf etc. is of course Paragon. It can only be opened by Paragon. From inside the Hard Disc Manager, not rightclick in Explorer. Watch https://kb.paragon-software.com/article/767 and https://kb.paragon-software.com/article/989
