I use Paragon Hard Disk Manager 15 Pro for my partition management. I use Acronis Backup for my Backups. No offense.
After a restore from Acronis failed on my 1 TB SATA disk with Windows XP Pro 32 bit, I tried to use Paragon to delete the partitions on the hard disk to start over.
But Paragon did not even show the disk being present in my system. I was running Paragon from a linux bootable recovery CD. I am using the latest version of the Paragon program.
The controller for the Hard Disk is a Marvell 88SE9172. Do I need to build a custom recovery CD with Windows PE in order to use my Paragon program from optical media?
