restore windows 10 from migrated HDD

My windows 10 OS has taken ill. It refuses to let me correct an explorer.exe problem. (class not registered) I have a copy of my computer HDD on an external HDD that I made using a migration with Backup and Recovery 13. How do I copy the windows 10 from my backup drive to the internal drive? If it is possible.

By copy do you mean a backup or exact bit by bit copy? Does B&R13 have a bootable recovery environment? There'd be a way from that to restore your internal HD, a bit by bit will take much longer to restore.

I see that B&R14 is a free download with the bootable rescue option and "might" be backward compatible with B&R13.
