Hello, I own three licenses for backup and restore 16
All worked fine for the first few days. Today, I decided to run another backup to an image file on my external drive. that completed successfully. Then I wanted to restore that image to a hard drive. Got an error, "File system errors found. would you like program to fix errors?". It failed. Then, I tried to restore to another hard drive, and that failed.
I know there is nothing wrong with those two hard drives so I tried to restore an image that I created over the weekend. I know that image is good because I successfully restored it. However, I got the same error, "File system errors found. would you like program to fix errors?". Thoughts?

You need to checkdisk the partition of your external drive, where backups are stored.
Connect an external drive, run a command line as Admin, and run: chkdsk Y: /x /f
Where instead of "Y" write the letter that is assigned to your external storage.
