Configuring new machines from image

Hi All,

I have to build new machines , right from installation of OS to having VMware and Virtual machines with a certain set of software.
What is the best way to do it ? I have one machine ready with expected config.

Hi! What do you mean by "right from installation of OS to having VMware and Virtual machines with a certain set of software"? You need either deployment manager or any product with p2v copy.

Hi John,

I am trying to do P2V.
I tried to copy and migrate entire the HDD
The newly configured machine has taken domain name from old configuration and cannot change it once deployed
can you please suggest with alternate where domain name should be configured
