Cannot connect disk 'Unable to connect to the host'

Hello, i'm new to all this so i'm sure the problem is easy to solve.
I want to connect a virtual hard disk image to the Hard Disk Manager but everytime i try to connect it i keep getting an error that states that it is unable to connect to the host, i have no idea what this means so if anyone can help i'd appreciate that.
Is it cause i'm using the trial version maybe?

AW: Cannot connect disk 'Unable to connect to the host'

How did you create the "virtual hard disk image"? Which file format (extension)? How precisely do you connect it? Which function? You may want to consider a support request.

Re: AW: Cannot connect disk 'Unable to connect to the host'

I created a Virtual Machine with an HP server and connected to that server with VMWare, it's format is VMDK, i connect with it through 'Copy & Migration' and clicking on 'Connect a Virtual Disk' and then said error pops up.
