Hi everyone. I must be using an older version of HDM 15 as the TRIM option is not available for NVMe drives. Can anyone tell me if v16 supports this? I just got a new laptop with one of these drives,...
Here are my guesses to those questions:
Yes, you'll be able to back up the encrypted system partition to VD, but only in hot processing mode (VSS or Hot Core).
Yes, you'll be able to mount...
After glancing through the manual for Migrate OS to SSD, it's clear to me that it's essentially a disk cloning program, with the added option of excluding files/folders of one's choice, so all the...
I should add: If you will be using the new disk on a different PC but with the same exact hardware, e.g. the same brand and model laptop, cloning the original disk will be sufficient.
Cloning and migration are different processes: Migration implies you'll be using the new disk on a different PC than the original, whereas you would clone the old disk to use the new one on the same...

Happy imaging...

A minor detail but I forgot to mention that I also copied the bootstrap code from the original MBR, just in case. This also gets changed by HDM for whatever reason.
Cheers :)
Suggestion: A better way to image Windows system disks
Hi everyone. I've been using the most wonderful Paragon Hard Disk Manager (14 and 15) for a number of years now, and I noticed some time ago...
