    Re: Delete Backup Capsule?

Well, anyway, I reformatted my USB backup HDD. Then after a reboot, backed up my system to it with HDM and Acronis TI. I can now see my Paragon and Acronis backup archives in File Explorer. So...

    Re: Delete Backup Capsule?

It used to be possible for me to mount the Acronis archives simply by double-clicking on the archive itself on my backup HDD. This was a very simple and convenient way to retrieve files located in...

    Re: Delete Backup Capsule?

BTW, I just noticed that the archives for Acronis that I created before getting Paragon HDM 15, shows the folders are empty. But if I right click on the folders in File Explorer, and select...

Thanks very much. I did it wrong, but ended up with my USB HDD bootable as a recovery media. I can start my system with that drive, and it finds all archive files on my USB backup HDD. So basically....

    Bootable backup drive?

I back up my system onto a HDD in a USB enclosure. Is there any way to make this drive bootable and to be able to restore back ups from it? Can't find any information on this.

    Re: User manual 2013 Free

BTW, I also have Acronis 2016. All I have to do to mount the archive is to go to my backup HDD and double click on the archive, select C:\, and it opens all the files for me. Sooo much easier.

    Re: User manual 2013 Free

Yeah, that's what I thought. But there seemed no way to get the partitions and the archive files together. I tried every combination of settings I could think of. The free program just didn't want to...

    Re: User manual 2013 Free

Ok, I was right. I clicked the "Unlock Features" button in the free program, and it took me right away to the Paragon HDM 15 suite to buy the program. So I bought and installed it. And I was able to...

    Re: User manual 2013 Free

I uninstalled my B&R 2013 Free, and installed B&R 2014 Free. There is a mounting feature in this program, but it is grayed out. I'm guessing that this is a feature to be unlocked by purchasing the...
