I found no way to create a boot entry for this software. That is, when booting the computer, I want an entry added to the boot menu so I can choose to load the OS or load the restore program.
No, I'm not hunting around for boot media to load the restore program on boot. That's clumsy. Other backup software add a boot menu entry.
