Paragon Protect & Restore Workstation Free not wokring on Windows 10

Multiple home users had installed Paragon Protect & Restore Workstation Free v3.30.2388.255499 under Windows 8.1 and it was working fine. After upgrading to Windows 10, the console still works and backup jobs try to run, but the C: drive backup fails with Unknown Error, while the System Reserved volume backs up fine.

Uninstalling that previous version and installing the latest build, v3.31.4112.281295, only makes matters worse. That latest build fails to install and gives no explanation (Failed to Install). After that, the W10 Start button no longer functions and System Restore fails indicating rstrui is bad/corrupt.

Is there no version of this product that works under Windows 10?

How do we fix the mess left by the latest build?

I, too, am unable to even open the program with Windows 10. Says I have an i/o error, but scandisk says everything is fine. Please help.
