Hi everyone,
I'm wondering, before thinking of buying it :D, if ExtFS MacOs driver is able to open an ext4 drive encrypted with cryptsetup (default crypt-tool for linux) ?
Thanks

Hi,
You can test a trial version of ExtFS for Mac 11: https://www.paragon-software.com/ufsdhome/extfs-mac/
Tested on OSX 10.13.6 at 2018-08-19: Paragon does not support encrypted partitions with luks+ext4 created by cryptsetup or gnomedisks. I just installed the trial version and it physically detects the disk but it indicates that the content is of unknown type.
The solution for me: using virtualbox, install centos7 and mount the external disk using cryptsetup and making the mapper on osx as external disk using sshfs over /Volumes/ directory.
It's been 6 years since this post... Is LUKS encryption for ext4 now supported?
