How to rebuild a backups index?

Hi,
I am using the free verion of Backup and Recovery and cannon import a recent backup due to either the .pfi file or .pvhd files being corrupted in some way.

I have checked this article on how to rebuild a missing .pfi index;

However this doesn't look like the version I have, which is Backup and Recovery v17. Is there a way to rebuild the index in the free version or is it only in the paid version? I cannot see anything in the free version that points to rebuilding a damaged index
