Feature Request - View and Edit Mac File Tags

I realize this is a long shot, but it would be extremely useful for APFS/HFS for Windows to be able to view and edit the file tags that macOS uses in its Finder.
I am referring to the colored dots (Red, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Blue, Green, Gray) that can be toggled on/off per file.
Visual feedback, such as displaying the dots, may be beyond the scope of what is possible in File Explorer, but perhaps a separate tags viewer window or widget could be implemented?
I imagine this would require ability to read/write the hidden .DS_Store files.
