Recovery media ISO, CD/DVD

I am new here. Used the recovery media creation option. Worked great for an USB. I have many programs, and do not like to write to USB for every recovery program for several reasons

1) Cost 8 Euro
2) Takes to much place
3) How to label a USB stick

Problem:

The recovery media option said USB and ISO. However, at the next step it only looked for USB. There was no option for ISO so I could burn CD.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how do I burn an ISO. Tried to retrieve the USB and burn ISO, but had
no luck after two hours, many many programs, and 12 printable cds.

I also see, looking thru the forum, there are very few replies. This does not give a good feeling for a solution.
