NT Specific error (0xC000009C) in Hard Disk Manager 16 Windows 10 64 bit
I got an error using Hard Disk Manager 16 on a 64 bit Windows 10 Pro machine:
NT Specific error (0xC000009C): STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERRO
Prior run yielded Error code: 0x10063
It is backing up to a hard drive. Worked fine in Windows 7.
The folder never gets created on the hard drive; it is failing before it begins to write to the drive
Very frustrating.
What's my next step?

I would first perform chkdsk /f for target volume.

Just installed Paragon B&R 17 Preview (64-bit), set up a daily incremental backup to a 1 TB external SSD (freshly formatted and checked) and started the first backup. It stopped after about a minute with the error message:
NT specific error (0xC000009C):
STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR
Error source:
Error code: 0xc000009c
After re-installing Paragon and restarting the system (with a CHKDSK run on all drives - no errors), I'm still getting the same error.
I have a Dell Latitude E-6540 with 16 GB of RAM, running Windows 10 Pro, v. 1809, 64-bit.
Hope someone can help.
