I probably found a place with bad sector on my C: volume. Is the HDM's "Scan for bad sectors" only reporting if the surface is healthy or does it mark the damaged place too, to not be used?
If not, what's the suggested tool to do full fix of bad sector(s)?
I would rather do a low-level disk scan but don't know about such utility as my drive vendor is Toshiba.
