Just-created PVHD errors on mounting, extracting, converting and verifying

I made a PVHD backup of an SSD before wiping it. I was stupid and forgot said SSD had around 100GB of worthless temp files (due to a bug in my build of Windows), so the image itself is massive. I need to get some data from the image, and so far, everything I've tried ends up failing with no apparent error. Trying to mount the PVHD through Paragon 15 Premium caused Paragon to crash. Trying to extract files just fails with no error. Trying to convert to VHDX failed with no error. Verifying the PVHD fails, too.

Am I hosed? There's not a *lot* of data on this image I want to get at, but there is some. Thanks!!
