Restoring a Pargob GPT Drive When XP Crashes
My physical boot drive crashed today. Not a problem just a pain. I pulled the dead drive and put in a new SATA 160GB, partitioned it up and re-installed Windows XP SP3. All my data is on other physical drive (except my FireFox favorites ugh).
I have a 3TB WD SATA drive that I set up with Paragon GPT Loader back in 2015 and it was running under my now-crashed copy of Windows XP. With the fresh copy of of XP up and running I went into Disk Management and my 3TB is listed as a GPT Protective partition (Healthy) but it doesn't have a drive letter and thus I can not access it.
How do I load the Paragon GPT driver software so that WinXP sees my 3TB drive WITHOUT destroying the data on it?
Thanks!
Re: Restoring a Pargob GPT Drive When XP Crashes
Well, all is well. I rebooted my computer and now the drive is showing up fine.
When I ran the Paragon GPT software it came up and asked me to start partitioning but no message to re-boot. Sorry to post such a dumb question.
