Unintelligible file names after clone/migration

What happened to the cloned files?

The files are stored in a backup.

What are the "hdd files?

These are backup files, something like an archive divided into parts. From this backup you can restore what you saved (disk, partition, files) to the same location or to another.

I created a support ticket 8 days ago and Paragon has not replied despite multiple (5) email requests from me.

I'm getting from your response that this program doesn't actually clone, it only backs up with a proprietary algorithm.
