Linux FS for Windows won't mount drive I want to recover
Plugged a WD 4tb hard drive onto a working sata power plug and data strip. Linux FS for Windows shows " Unfortunately, The Paragon Mounter service is not running...". I restart the service and sometimes it is successful and other times restart is completed with errors. Regardless it never mounts the drive. Windows Device Manager sees it as an "Unknown device". Disk Management sees it as "Disk 1 Unknown Not Initialized". Shouldn't I be able to see the name and partitions of the target drive before I am able to recover the data? It seems like I need to change a setting in Windows, BIOS, or install a Linux driver for the drive before it will work. Is there something I am missing?
