More then 4 partitions on a drive

I use the recovery cd to work with my windows vista ultimate 64 bit system.

I want 5 partitions, but when I try to make number five, then the "Create partition" is greyed out.

Is it only possible to make 4 pertitions?

Hello,

you can always create only 4 Partitions. But you can create an extended partition as your 4. and in this you can create logical partitions.

so create a Extended partition for more logical partitions.
