I am trying to copy a smaller hard disk (200gb) onto a second larger disk (320gb) Bothe the disks are SATA.I am unable to copy the hard disk. The smaller hard disk has two partitions, one is 3gb and the second is 184gb. The programme appaers to be working OK and after a short time reboots into the "blue screen" mode. It copies the first partition without problem and appears to copying the second partition however when it reaches 110gb the dialog box pops up stating press any key to reboot system. When I do this the computer reboots into windows xp and Paragon Backup restarts at the wizard screen. When I check the copied drive I can see the first partion has been copied correctly but the second partition has not been copied and is shown as being unformated. I have tried this several times with the same result. Any help would be appriciated.
Don't you want to use Copy Partition instead of Copy HDD Wizard? This will allow you to clone partitions one by one.
First clone C: and if you don't use Resize Proportionally option it must go in Windows.
After that clone your second partition to free space left after C: cloning. Remove old drive and boot from new one. Note, till you boot from new drive the system partition mustn't have drive letter assigned.

I have tried Copy partition as well but it still shows as an unformated disc with no data on it. I tried to install it into the computer per chance I was missing something and unsurprisingly the computer would not boot up. It repoted that I had to insert a bootable disc and press any key.
oh, bad luck you had. I have never met such hardnesses with my copies of Drive Backup and Partition Manager.
