Backup Capsule

Hi,

Is it necessary to create a bootable backup capsule when a full backup is created on a separate partition and I have recovery and rescue CD's :confused:

No, Backup Capsule is a secure place on your HDD where you can store backup images for safety. Common access from Windows Explorer to archives in this place is restricted.
But if you prefer to keep backup images on any other partition then there is no need in Backup Capsule creation.
