Hi there and thanks for your help in advance.

When I try and mount any of the arc images I back up with Paragon 8.51 I get an error message "Operation Failed 0xe 00 000 10"

Things seem to start ok and I get as far as mount drive, then the message comes up to ask me what drive letter I want to give it. I assign the next available drive letter (and have tried them all) and then the "Operation Failed 0xe 00 000 10" message.

Hello Peter,

where is this Image you trying to mount located? (Network, second partition, DVD, ...)

Thanks,

I'm trying to mount a local drive I've called F: This has the image. It's got an arc image of both my C: and E: drive. I can't mount it.

I do have second machine on the network and I can mount dives from that machine. I have paragon on both machines.

On the second machine I can mount both local drives and network drives.

As the second machine can mount the image on the first machines F: drive we know the image is okay.

It would seem the issue is with the first machine in some way not able to use the mount feature for some reason? The dirves on this first machine are IDE but not SATA.

It's the first machine I'm concerned about as it can't mount either local or network images.

Peter, I've red your posting a few times now but I don't get it.

The Imagefile (arc file) you are trying to mount is located on a local partition - right?

Are you using the latest version of Drive Backup 8.51?

Yes,

On the machine I've got a problem with there are 3 drives; C: E: and F: I'm used pragon drive backup 8.51 to make an arc image of drives C: and E: to drive F: and I can't mount this partition.

I can't mount any image on this problem machine even if the image is on a network.

I've just reformatted my C: disk and presently I'm intalling all new drives etc to see if this helps. So far though it still seems to have a problem as I can't mount a network drive even after reinstalling my initre system manually to ensure everything is clean.

Thanks again for your help.

You are reinstalling your whole system just to clarify if this behavior related to the mount issue? huuhhh

I think I've fixed now. Looks like the latest Nvida chipset drivers may be helping. Got to do some more testing but looking good so far.

Thanks for your help.
