Redistribute Free Space Problem

I have a vaio and I wanted to reclaim the 2 GB partition with the recovery image as usable space. After creating DVD's with the restore image on them I completed the redistribute free space wizard. When the process completed I was left with the NTLDR missing message. This is a vist machine. Anythoughts on either getting it to boot back up OR if I have to start over with the image how I would reclaim the space the "correct" way.

I was looking at some of the FAQ's and I think I have a possible solution. I went ahead and reloaded machine to factory settings.

In Partition manager the systems looks like this.

partition 1 system restore partition
Partition 2 c:

the first time I just did the redistribute free space.

If I first move the system restore partition below the c: partition then redistribute free space would I end up with better results?

Hello Mikmas,

we would recommend to wait for 1 week till we realease the update for Partition Manager that works better with Vista partitions.
The updated version must help you.
