convert dynamic to basic disk

Hi,

Please help me, I am wondering if I convert from dynamic disk to basic disk by following this http://kb.paragon-software.com/paragon/include/templ/object2.jsp?catId=2124&objId=1421&statId=922570&foLang=en

Will all my data be lost?.. If it is, Is there anyway to do it without loosing all my data?

Hello,

No, you won't loose your data when converting your disk from dynamic to basic.

But to convert your disk from dynamic to basic is a very critical operation!

I strongly recommend to- make sure your server has a consistent filesystem (run chkdsk x: /F against all partitions)
- and to create a full backup of your system
before any operation takes place.regards,
