View Full Version : Restore Single Vista Partition
Can the new 8.51 Personal Edition dtd 5/10/2007 now restore a single partition (particilarly the system partion) from an image of a whole disk or from an image in the Backup Capsule ???

Sure!
but couldn't the previous version not perform such task?
I recommend the usage of the "simple restore wizard." This wizard has more options and gives you the opportunity to perform a selective restore (e.g. restore only system partition).

According to the Paragon Vista Experiance Center, Ver 8.5 allows 1. Backup of whole hard drive to Backup Capsule , 2. Backup of whole hard drive to external storage but only allows the restore of only the whole hard drive from either the Backup Capsule or the external storage and that it would be available with the next update.
Seeing that ver 8.51 is now available and the Paragon Vista Experiance Center has not been updated I want to know that I can restore a single partion from a multible partition (ie: the system partition only) backup that was made to either the Backup Capsule or to an external storage device.
It can, I did restore recently and my Vista system partition was restored correctly.
