Hardware Changes

I am looking for a piece of software that will be able to back up a hard drive and then put all of the data on a new hard drive except with a different hardware configuration.

Is this piece of software able to do that? I know there are some titles that are unable to. Basically I have a 30 gig hard drive that I'm replacing and don't want to reinstall everything over again.

Drive Backup 8.51 or HDM8.5 can handle this task. But you must be aware of the problems that difference in hardware (chipset, etc) could cause to you.
In case you plan to replace (say upgrade) you old HDD wit new one, then the task is very easy, at least to me ;)
