I downloaded Drive Backup Professional 8.51 this past Saturday. On a PC Chips A31G motherboard the Recovery CD program sees a hard drive attached to the IDE port but not one connected to the SATA port. Could this be fixed in the next release? Thank you.

Hello,

did you use the Linux based or the DOS based recovery CD?
The DOS based is that one, you can create out from the program ( recovery meida builder ). For the Linux based recovery CD you have to download it from the Paragon homepage.

Try the ohter recovery CD, i think this could handle your problem.

Hello,

I would try ther Safe mode, because its a compatibility mode.
alternative you can download the BartPE plugin and create BartPE based Recovery CD. one of the best recovery Cds ever.

The BartPE site http://www.bootcd.us/ hasn't been updated since February 25, 2005. The alternate site http://www.bartpe.org/ has been taken over by domain hijackers. Doesn't look too promising...

Bart PE main advantage is that you can add newer driver to this old plugin. So it does not depend on updates like other software.
