Attempting to run Disk Wipe on bootup CD

Using Disk Wipe personal 8.5. Created a bootable CD in order to boot a computer and wipe the harddrive.

When computer boots up on CD, it appears to install mouse software, appears to start paragon software but then all I see is a blank screen.

This is on a PC with Windows Vista SP1. Harddrive is a SATA (newer 3gb type). Motherboard is an AMD CPU, chipset, gigabyte mb.

Not sure what other info you'd need.

Edit: card is an Nvidia Geforce 8500 GT

Is the Recovery CD created from the image sent by Paragon? I assume you use DOS based RCD and it is defeated by your configuration.

Have not attempted to use recovery disk yet. Will try.
