Redistribute Space (resize)

When trying to redistribute space from 1 partition to another to increase size of second partition because it has run out of spare room. I get the error message " interupted by user source Hard Disk Manager" and the resizing fails.
I have closed all programs i know of, get the error still appears and i am unable to resize. I desparately need to resize before i lose data.

have you run chkdsk /f for each partition you are operating with? May be some errors are presented in partitions FSs.

You may try not to use Redistrubute Free Space wizard, but right click on a partition and chose Mova/Resize. This way redistribute operation takes some more steps, but result will be equal. Conserning my expirience, its better to click Apply after each resize step and proceed with operations one by one. In case of errors during one of steps it will be clear where they take place and it will be easear to fix them.
